The Official Journal of Pakistan Society of Gastroenterology and GI Endoscopy

The Pakistan Journal of Gastroenterology (PJG) requires authors to disclose all sources of financial support received for the conduct of the research, preparation of the manuscript, or publication of the study. Transparent reporting of funding information promotes accountability and enables readers to assess any potential influence on the research.
Authors should clearly identify all funding organizations, grant providers, institutions, or agencies that supported the study. Where applicable, the official name of the funding body, grant number, and project reference number should be provided.
The role of the funding organization in the study should also be described. Authors should indicate whether the funding body had any involvement in the study design, data collection, data analysis, interpretation of results, manuscript preparation, or the decision to submit the manuscript for publication.
If the research did not receive any external financial support, authors should include the following statement:
"The authors received no financial support for the research, authorship, and/or publication of this article."
Failure to disclose relevant funding information may result in delays during the editorial process or further clarification requested by the Editorial Office.
Funding transparency is an important component of research integrity. Complete and accurate disclosure helps maintain the credibility of published research and complies with international publication standards.
